We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting friends nearby. There is not much choice of CL around here and this one leaves a little to be desired. Very difficult to find as there is no signage on the road - I had to reverse 5 yards back up the busy road to get in. I was given the wrong code for the gate, the toilet block is grimy, I never found the chemical toilet emptying point, and there are many other small businesses close by. However needs must, and it does have electric hookups which the other CL in this area does not. Useful rather than enjoyable. However, the pub across the road, The Aperfield Inn, was excellent and well worth a visit.

As such since your visit the CL owner has invested in the site to make a more attractive site for members to enjoy and our CL Advisor has visited the site recently and was impressed with all the work that has been carried out. The CL owner is now also upgrading the hardstanding pitches, each with grass border edges.
