We have just spent a very enjoyable 9 nights here over Easter. The family were always friendly and helpful, despite clearly being busy, even lending us a sky box and aerial lead to help us get TV reception (Freesat not freeview here - may save others time!) They even organised some of the best weather I can remember in many years for us :-) Our kids enjoyed their time on the farm and not once did I feel they were at any risk from the dogs - they were always friendly. To be able to look out on the fells and see the sheep (and lambs) with your morning coffee is fabulous and we made the most of the walking available from the site and nearby. The site is not the biggest but there was plenty of space for our van and awning and we would happily go back in the future.
