Glad we went
We almost didn't book this CL because of the bad reviews that it received a couple of years ago, but decided to give it a try and were pleased that we did. We found it interesting to watch all the goings-on at the farm, and the surroundings and views are lovely. We always leave the van on site and found pleasant walks straight from the farm. We saw masses of bluebells and heard a cuckoo. If we had stayed longer we would have caught the bus into Keswick and maybe to Grasmere as well. Don't be put off by those old reviews- this is a nice place to stay.
