Helpful owner
We had a friendly welcome here on this busy working farm. Walking from the site is easy and on the day of the recent royal visit to Keswick we were able to walk up the fell behind, along a ridge and down to Thirlmere and back along the side of the lake. As it’s a few miles out of Keswick we benefitted from the peace and tranquility, but the theatre and amenities of Keswick are there if you want them. Television reception is not brilliant but the owner offered us a cable. Eggs from the farm too were a bonus.
