I was going to ‘let go’ of my membership of CAMC but frankly at 15quid a night this cracking little site so close to Stratford Upon Avon has made it worthwhile being a member.
Immaculately kept by Barbara who is a very welcoming host and very helpful and environmentally conscious person as well.
I thought I had gone deaf it was so peaceful!
Nice stroll into Stratford via the racecourse which brings you out by the river/park/marina or bus almost right outside but beware you need the timetable as it’s a rural service.
A little gem
Suakin is a beautifully well kept site that offers peace and tranquillity but is only a short distance from Stratford upon Avon with all the main attractions on offer.
The surrounding area offers endless walks and cycle rides, a bus stop outside the site into Stratford and the racecourse is only a few minutes walk away. We stayed for only three nights but so wished it had been more.
Barbara is a delightful lady who made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions on the where’s and what’s to do. We can’t wait to return.

Such a lovely site
We spent two days at this site but could have stayed for a week. Barbara the owner was really friendly and helpful. It was just perfect. Really quiet yet close to everything. Lovely walks straight from the site. Pubs ,and Indian restaurant etc all within a mile. Stratford upon Avon town was 1.7 miles away .Cant wait to go back.We will definitely stay again.
Our first CL stopover.
This was our first cl stop and what a great place it is. This is exactly what we were hoping we’d find when we bought our Campervan. Lovely little site within walking or cycling distance from Stratford upon Avon. Facilities spotless and a very nice welcome from Barbara. Only stayed one night travelling back up to Yorkshire but will definitely return for longer and visit Stratford. First class.
Excellent Little Site
We had a lovely welcome from the owner Barbara, who was very helpful during our 2 day stay, informing us of the best cycle route to the town and local walks. The site is small but has everything you need if you don’t need ehu. Everything on the site was absolutely immaculate, from the flat lawned pitches to the recycling area. We were very impressed with this site as it was very peaceful, well maintained and only 10mins cycle ride into the town. We will definitely be back to this site

Another nice stay
Recently stay a couple of nights at Suakin. As always a lovely greeting from Barbara even in these difficult times. Site is still as nice as when we came last year. We were hoping to go for Easter This year but we were unable so due to lockdown. Sorry Barbara no afternoon tea this year, maybe next year. Thank again for having us. Jayne and Mike
Paradise in Warwickshire
It may be basic but it combines an easy to use site with excellent location and peace & quiet. Flat grassy area surrounded by fruit trees, easily accessed from road. Footpath into Stratford upon Avon close by (metalled for direct access, or alongside the River Avon for a slightly longer stroll). Warm welcome from owner guaranteed. Too many nearby places of interest to list, plus miles of footpaths. Excellent shops and supermarkets nearby in Stratford - plenty of close-by garden centres, nurseries and farm shops.

Heaven
I am in 2 minds whether I should write a review for this CL, as I don't want anyone else to fine out about it.
It is a nice tranquil spot and can't wait to go back

We stayed on suakin for easter 2019, the welcome from Barbra was first class, site was very clean and tidy, nice and peacefull site very close to Stratford. Thank you Barbra for a lovely stay
Just a really nice place to stay
We bought a caravan from Broad Lane in Alcester and wanted to make sure all was well before we moved on so stayed here for a couple of days. What a lovely find. The site is very close to the racecourse at Stratford and is ideal for dog walkers. Barbara is lovely and made us feel very welcome. The site itself is peaceful, enclosed and very private. There was one other caravan when we were there and we quickly made friends. A lovely place. Very well kept. We will certainly be coming back as we have family in the area and this is an ideal place to stay. Thank you Barbara for making us feel so welcome, George & Yvette.
