Wonderful CL and Owners

What can I say the best CL we’ve been on. Friendly welcome from Royston n Ziggy the toilet n shower are immaculate and spotless. everything about this site was immaculate. It’s like caravaning in your garden. My husband broke his hip in the middle of our holiday and was in hospital for 2 weeks Royston n Sue were wonderful making sure I was OK and befriending me. They were above and beyond with their thoughtfulness and kindness I can’t thank them enough. I used the park n ride which was 4 miles away to get into Truro as the traffic is horrendous fantastic service £2.20 for day ticket.

Excellent CL

This is an extreemly attractive CL, well maintained with spotless toilet; shower and dishwashing facility. The pitches have EHU, there are water and waste point and chemical disposal all well placed. The pitches are a generous size and slightly sloping, levelling blocks are needed, and as we had not taken ours the owner, Royston, sorted some out for us to borrow. The approach off the A39 is well signposted and has a dedicated lane for turning right. We saw very light traffic on the approach lane and the site has double entry gates at the entrance giving easy entrance/exit. We were warmly greeted by Royston and Sue and they made us most welcome during our 10 days. We did once walk along the lane and it was quiet enough to enjoy stretching our legs and spotting the birds. There are presently (July 2023) major roadworks nearby on the A30 but we didn't hear much at all, and only light background traffic noise from A39, which stopped in the evenings. One of the best we have stayed on.

Little Gem

Could not ask for nicer hosts, Royston and Sue, who gave us a very warm welcome. The site was clean, tidy and very well kept, on site facilities were in excellent order and spotlessly clean. The site is also quite central to Cornwall's visitor attractions and situated just off the A30. You could just hear in the background some traffic noise but nothing untoward and certainly didn't detract from what was essentially a very peaceful stay. We would definitely stay on this site again and without hesitation recommend it to others.

Immaculate Site

A lovely site, we were met at the gate by our hosts and Ziggy the dog, and said a brief hello to Ralph the cat. We had a 14 night stay, The site itself is clean and tidy. The shower and toilets were immaculate. There is a little road noise but you get used to it. Would recommend this site to anybody .

Recent Stay

Where do you start Royston met us at the gate and let us in.The site is spotlessly clean , toilet and Shower where spotless. Site is compact and is kept very tidy. Leveling blocks are required on some pitches dogs welcome but no dog walks nearby. Unfortunately the road noise from the A39 can be heard at Peak times mainly due to a lot more road users avoiding road works just up the road on the new A30 bypass. Would i stay over again certainly

Home from Home

Lovely site and warm welcome from Sue and Royston along with Charlie ( the Doberman the big softy ). We had 14 nights from 5th sep to 19th. Site was very clean and tidy showers and toilet spotless, We marked down peace and tranquillity with a 4 as a little road noise but not the fault of the site ( you got used to it as the weeks went on, would highly recommend this CL site, Keep up the good work

A gem of a site

We stayed for 6 nights, August 2021, and didn't really want to leave! Sue and Royston were so welcoming and Charlie the doberman dog was gentle and friendly. The site is exceptionally well maintained, the shower and toilet are spotlessly clean. The pitches are well spaced but you do need some levelling blocks as the site is sloping. It was so peaceful and pleasant we had an amazing relaxing stay. We can not recommend this cl more highly it is one of the best we have ever stayed on. We will certainly be returning on our next visit to Cornwall, we just hope they have a vacancy!

Fabulous First Time at a CL!

Having been touring for 15 years, we thought it was about time to give a CL a go. We stayed for 14 nights at Sunnyside and were more than happy. This is an immaculate site with excellent facilities. It is easily accessed and is ideally placed to visit all areas of Cornwall. Royston and Sue are the perfect hosts, allowing guests to be self-sufficient but there for you if needed. Charley, the Dobermann, extends the warm welcome. What more could we have asked for? Without a doubt, we will stay again when next in Cornwall.

The Best CL I've Been To By Miles

I honestly don't know where to start, Royston and Sue are lovely, and met us at the gate and showed us to our pitch in their beautiful garden, of which there are 5 perfectly spaced and positioned to offer a degree of privacy, while at the same time close enough to each other that everyone meets at some point to chat and make new friends. The toilet and shower facilities are kept absolutely pristine. Even the recycling facilities are immaculate and clearly marked so everyone knows what goes where, and on top of all this perfectly positioned to visit all that Cornwall has to offer. I've only been caravanning for the last 7 years, but I've stayed on CL's all over the country from Southampton to Peterhead and never stayed anywhere that could hold a candle to Sunnyside. Thankyou Royston and Sue for a wonderful 2 weeks, oh yes and Charlie the Doberman was lovely too !

Fabulous stay

We have just returned from 11 nights nights at this lovely site. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Sue and Royston...this is a lovely quiet site literally in their beautiful garden. I cannot say a bad thing about it. The shower and toilet facilities are spot less. EHU points by each pitch, only 5 pitches so a very cosy site where everyone gets to know each other..... The location if great too and within easy distance of the whole of Cornwall. They is a slight slope on the pitches so blocks are needed but otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about this site. If its a quiet, peaceful relaxing break you are after this lovely little site is the one for you...we will definitely be back!!
