Beautiful well kept site

One of the little gems tucked away just off the road between Fritton and Great Yarmouth. Ideal size for tourers who like a quiet site.  The grass field next to the tourers is great for giving the dogs a run. The site owners  are friendly and helpful.   We stayed on pitch number 1, and yes it's near the toilets and waste drain, but to be honest, with only half a dozen vans on the site, it's absolutely no bother. would happily have this pitch again.

What a gem shhhh!

What a lovely site this is. Didn't really want to tell everybody about this site as wanted to keep it to myself, but the way you are welcomed and site facilities needed to be told. The site is kept immaculate, grass is cut regularly and toilet and showers are kept really clean. On arrival was met by Sean and shown to our pitch, he showed us where all water, waste and electric was, he even lent us an extension lead as ours wasn't long enough. There is a lovely field adjoining the cl that is great for letting your dogs have a run. All this for £11 a night, what a bargain! We will definitely be back

Best site around

Very clean and tidy site. Hanging baskets are a nice touch.Toilets and showers in nice wooden huts and are kept very clean.  A wooden fence in front of toilet emptying facility would be the only thing to make it perfect. ( not very nice if you are in pitch 1 and can see people emptying their toilets) Well worth a visit.

WARM AND WELCOME GREETING

WE ARRIVED ON THE DAY BEFORE GOOD FRIDAY MYSELF, PARTNER, DAUGHTER, PARTNER AND 2 GRANDCHILDREN AND LATER IN THE DAY MY IN-LAWS ARRIVED. WE WERE WELCOMED BY COLLEEN ONE OF THE SITE OWNERS. SHE MADE US FEEL AT HOME STRAIGHT AWAY WITH A BIG WARM AND FRIENDLY SMILE, ASKED US IF WE HAD STAYED HERE BEFORE WHICH WE HAD BEFORE COLLEEN HAD TAKEN OVER, THE FIELD WAS NICELY KEPT, AND IT WAS GREAT TO SEE A TOLIET IN A CUTE LOG CABIN WHICH I MUST SAY WAS VERY CLEAN. WE SET UP CAMP AND OUR DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY SET THEMSELVES UP, WITH THE GRANDCHILDREN HAVING THE SPACE TO PLAY AND TAKE THERE DOG FOR A WALK THEY WERE VERY HAPPY. COLLEEN MADE OUR GRANDCHILDREN EVEN HAPPIER AS WHEN WE ARRIVED HOME AFTER A DAY OUT COLLEEN HAD PLACED EASTER BUNNIES ROUND THE SITE FOR OUR LITTLE ONES TO FIND WHICH WAS A VERY NICE TOUCH, THEY ENJOYED THE HUNT VERY MUCH. WE WILL BE RETURNING TO THIS SITE AGAIN VERY SOON HOPEFULLY SPACE PERMITTING, AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SITE FOR ANYONE TO STAY ON. EASY DISTANCE FOR YARMOUTH, GORLSTON, OULTON BROADS AND CAISTER. THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL EASTER.

So welcoming

Really lovely site, the owner was such a lovely welcoming lady and couldn't do enough for you, loved the log cabin and very clean, only criticism would be there is no shower but we did know that when we arrived.Exellent spacious field next to site for children to run about or to play ball games. Also bought some lovely free range eggs from owner. We would defiantly recommend this site and will return !!

Highly recommended

We stayed at Swallow Park for five nights in July 2013 and we will surely return. The CL is looked after to a very high standard and is a very pleasant place to be. The facilities are excellent with a high standard of cleanliness and toilet facilities are provided in a very cute log cabin! The site is spacious, lawned and level. Flower beds and hanging baskets were a riot of colour on our visit. There is a separate information hut with details of local businesses and attractions. The owners could not have been more helpful and pleasant, from making sure we were met on our arrival, bringing us a local paper listing places of interest and local events taking place in the area, free range eggs available from their own hens (with lovely yellow yolks!) and all round concern that we should enjoy our stay. Access to Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Caister is straightforward, Definitely one to return to!

A family favourite

Until we found this site we had never been to the same one twice. Its a gem. So much so Glen the site manager has seen our children grow up over the years. There is always a warm welcome from Glen. The site is well kept, and for us the bonus is the field in which the children can play without disturbing fellow caravanners. Forget Yarmouth beach, head to Gorleston, beautiful beach, free parking, lifeguards and no over inflated ice cream prices from the sea front shops. There are plenty of attractions within easy reach. Lowestoft was a pleasant eye opener. Our favourite attractions are The Lowestoft Tram Museum, Strumpshaw and the Pleasure Beach (which is great for younger children, book your wrist band the day before and save a few quid). We'll be back again this year.

A hidden gem

This site is a few miles outside of Great Yarmouth, near a smaller seaside area of Gorleston. We were there for a week and had the most amazing weather, we spent 2 days on the beach at Gorleston Cliffs which our boys loved (and so did we to be honest, not least of all because of the nearby ice cream van)! The site has 3 areas to it, the 'van storage area, the pitches and a playing field at the bottom. The grass was nicely mown and very tidy; Glen the site manager was very helpful and gave us all the details we needed for local amenities and "locals" directions to visitor attractions which was very handy indeed! The bottom field was ideal for ball games and running off all the boys energy. The local area is very beautiful and you are in easy striking distance of a whole host of attractions - Africa Alive, Pleasurewood Hills, Burgh Castle, Great Yarmouth and more besides! We'll definitely be going back again!
