We arrived in pouring rain,but as we live on the Eastern side of the Country and we hadn't had a lot of rain,we were not to bothered thinking the grass would be hard.Wrong! This area had a lot of rain and the ground was very soft. We set up on our pitch which has it's own water,waste and 16amp electric,the grass was cut and in pristine condition,with all the cuttings collected,wish all sites would do that. We had a warm welcome from the owner, who said we could leave our car on his drive due to the soft grass conditions. We found out that we were the only people booked in for the weekend. So quiet, all we could hear was the light engine noise of a passing canal boat,or the birds, heaven.See the campsite photo's. The weather was fine for the rest of our stay,so we made the most of the walks along the canal after our evening meals. The area is nice and we visited Nantwich and Whitchurch. We would return to this cl again, it is lovely.
