Just had a lovely 3 night stay at Tagg Lane Grange. Arrived on Monday and pitched up next to a field full of friendly Jersey cows and the most fantastic view of the beautiful Derbyshire countyside. You can pitch wherever you want as there are various hook ups round the site. Unfortunately it then rained for 36 hours and when we tried to leave for a day out we were stuck. Les very kindly towed us out and we had a lovely afternoon in Bakewell, had to try the pudding !! Yum... The site is spotlessly clean and there is now a very chic Cafe on site selling teas, coffees , homemade Jersey ice cream and homemade cakes. The Farm shop also sells raw Jersey milk , butter and free range eggs. Ideal spot for exploring and is only 10 mins from Bakewell. The Boam family are very welcoming and we can't wait to visit again. Loved being on the farm and watching the daily routine with the cows.
