Ease of arrival/welcome

Tanks, trains, swimming, gardening 👍

We turned off the A140 and followed the road round as instructed into the wide open gateway. On the right was a large grassy area with plenty of room for social distancing. Toilets and a shower were available and so were ice lollies from the cafe which were really welcome. The children's play area is a nice touch along with picnic benches and saplings near the museum. A friendly welcome from the owner who pointed out the facilities on our arrival. We didn't get time to go around the tank museum so we will have to return which we fully intend doing so. A very nice flat site, some trains pass by infrequently which did not impact unduly on this quiet rural site. Really good independent garden centre nearby at Tasburgh and co-op at Long Stratton nearby, not to mention the swimming pool next door.
