Fourth Stay in three years.

What a great little CL, always a warm welcome from all of the Heddon family. A working dairy farm of which my two children Luke (13) & Aimee (11) have always shown interest in since we first stayed three years ago. Ross lets them get involved around the farm and they love every minute they are helping out. We discover more and more from the area each time we visit, the Tarka bike trail less than a mile from the site has great routes to Barstaple and beyond one way and Torrington and beyond the other. Public buses runs past the site. Great scenery, canal walks, bridges over rivers, woodland walks and cream teas to be had along the way. We love the area especially westward Ho! and Northam Burrows. Ask Ross or Nicky and they'll tell you great places to go, the wake park is great fun and laugh as you climb on the large inflatables or have a go at wake boarding. Always lots to do, supermarkets near by, walk to the village pub " The Cyder Presse" or if your a golfer a few courses close by. Already planned to go back in October and Easter next year. If you want a peaceful stay then this is the place but remember cows do Moo!! Tractors make noise and the church bell ringers do practice once a week..... A+++
