Such a beautiful setting for a perfect 3 night stay. Great views from the van windows and a lovely area. Weather was a bif iffy, but didn't let it stop us from enjoying the area. Not a bad approach from the A road, and far enough away not to hear it. Sloping field but pitches are pretty level. Well kept grassed areas but edges just wild enough to keep the wildlife happy. Lots of bird feeders around, and plastic boxes containing bags of seed and nuts for 50p each, kept in the spotless toilet block. We sat and watched nuthatches, blue, great and coal tits, robins, for hours sat in the sun. Great to chat to the owner who advised us about some places to visit and a riverside hotel for a great meal when we had visitors. Made to feel very welcome here and will definitely go back!
