We live around 10 miles away and wanted to book a local site last minute overnight stay with the kids and dogs. First impressions, a lovley, idyllic well maintained site. The owner advised she wouldn't be there at our arrival time which didn't bother us but she made sure we had some credit on the meter on arrival so we could hook straight up ☺ Electric is by way of £1 cards that you slot into the meter and any unused cards can be returned for a refund. The kids loved spending time with the horses in the paddock and was great to watch them from the caravan later in the evening galloping around the field right next to us. The owner is really friendly and helpful and told us about some great local places to go with the kids on our next visit. The toilet waste facility is a loo round the back with a rinse off hose just around the corner, no great hardship and they have full recycling facilities for your rubbish. Looking forward to a return visit in the next few weeks, my little girl loved it so much she cried when we packed up! Thank you for a lovely last minute break 😊
