Nicely

Very pleasant and tidy site, spacious hardstandings with hook up and a tap between each pitch. We stayed here for 2 nights prior to our annual service at a nearby dealership in Kenilworth. Perfectly situated for our requirement but equally an ideal base for a break in this lovely area or to break a journey north or south. Close to Warwick, Kenilworth and Leamington. There are also numerous NT properties close by and lots of good walking too. Access is easy being on an A road and only a few miles from the M40. The down side to this is road noise which may bother some if you are looking for a more tranquil break. There are toilets and showers too but I cannot comment as we used our own facilities. Owner is friendly and helpful and the site is well secured with large electric key coded gates. Would defiantly return and would have given 5 stars if not for noisy road.

Great CL

We stayed at this site for a week and enjoyed our time there. The pitches are generous and well maintained the facilities were clean. the site has a secure access . Yes there is some aircraft and road noise but we did not find it intrusive at all despite being able to sit outside most of the time due to the really good weather. The site is ideally situated for visiting Warwick and surrounding areas. It is also worth noting that there is also a Bed and Breakfast linked to the CL and we thought this might be useful if we wanted to include other family members in the future.

Good location

Spent 6 nights at this cl. Good location for visiting Leamington spa, Warwick and Hatton Locks to name a few. Owners very helpful and provided advice on local attractions and maps for local walks. Grass kept cut short and site clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning here.

Centrally Situated

Several points have already been mentioned and although it is a nice peaceful and level site with a water supply on most pitches, and reasonably priced, the shower and toilet facilities could do with updating, hence we used our own. As has already been mentioned, the re-cycling and general rubbish bins are directly on the access path to the facilities and also in the same area is the Chemical Toilet emptying point. Apart from that it is a lovely bright site with lots of wildlife and is well situated for connections to motorways and attractions.

Dog friendly site.

Easy site to access minutes off the A road . Entries via coded gate. Site is basically a large grass circle with hardstanding pitches off the circle. Separate field for dog walking. Road at the side of field quite noisy. Airplane noise not noticeable. Showers and toilet block fairly basic but tidy. Dogs not charged extra. Owners friendly but not over intrusive. Great Central location. We visited the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Warwick Castle,Leamington Spa. Our stay was for a long weekend. Would definitely return.

A lovely weekend break with the grandkids

Booked by phone so nice and simple and paid on arrival. Nice secure gates with access codes for in and out (just the one entrance/exit). Pitches are a nice size and have a EHU bollard and a tap for each pair of pitches which is nice. Toilets and shower are in a building that was clean throughout our stay; you will need some 50p coins for the shower and 20p coins for the hot water in the sink rooms, we just used our facilities in the van so can't say much about them other than that. Our grandkids played on the grass island so had some space to run about and play with their toys safely. The road did get a bit noisy at times but not too bad overall. We walked to Kenilworth Castle across the fields from the site, about 1:40 walking at 4 year olds pace, they loved the adventure ... and the promise of an ice cream. Overall we had a nice time and will most likely be back for a quick escape again.

Basic site but good base for local attractions

The Croft is a very basic CL site. Access to the site is via a security gate, you have to go to the B&B next door to get the code. There are just 2 toilets, 1 shower and 2 separate basins. Showers are 50p and if you want hot water at the basin then it is 20p. Facilities are unisex and I found them very disappointing. The bins and waste disposal were also situated by the toilet block. I didn't have a problem with most of the people on site, however, there was a very strange character in a motor home - positioned next to the toilet block. He seemed to think he should be toilet/bin monitor and made remarks every time a family member passed him. I got the impression he was a frequent visitor to the CL and I found him very intrusive - he thought it acceptable to visit our pitch (whenever he liked) and impart general words of advice. We won't be returning.

Excellent CL

We stayed here for three days whilst visiting our son who is at Uni in Coventry. We found the site very easy to find and access, there are electric gates onto the site, so very secure. The toilet/shower block is very well thought out and was spotlessly clean and there is an outside sink for washing-up plus lots of recycling boxes. All pitches are hard standing and have power and water close by. The site is purfectly placed for touring the area, we went to Stratford-on-Avon one day then Draycote Water another plus called in at Hatton Locks which is one of the biggest streches on Locks in England and well worth visiting, it is on the Grand Union Canal. Some reviews mentioned noise but, although a main A road runs past the site, we found the noise to be very little and certainly not a problem. An Excellent CL which we would highly recommend.

Fantastic

My first CL site and one of my first Caravan Club sites at the time although now I've been on many. This was fantastic site run by a lovely couple. They are very busy though so bear with them when trying to get hold of them because they run a B&B as well. Beautiful land and a very private pitch. Good facilities easy enough access and I would highly recommend very good price. Worth trying to get hold of them! Thanks so much.
