Not a quiet weekend

I booked this site for ease of access and the fact it boasted hard standing pitches Yes the access is really easy off the main road in to the carpark and through a large gate That and the lovely scenery is where it ends as to what is good about this site The field is on quiet a slope and to call the pitches hard standing is really pushing it maybe they were once many years ago but not anymore all over grown and any hard standing has completely disintegrated. You will require your own toilet as the only one is in the pub which is hardly ever open The site advertises wifi again there is none , maybe in the pub but that as ive said is hardly ever open. Then we get to the main event . If youve booked this site for abit of solitude and quiet then forget it There is a church very near by and the bells chime every hour on the hour all bloody night . Fancy a lay in on sunday forget that too as bell ringing practice seems to start at 8 : 30 am . But its fine because the cfonstant traffic noise from the road will have kept you awake anyway. Couple all this with paying £20 a night yes thats £20 a night (the dearest CL site ive EVER stayed on ) and this is definatly one to avoid
