This is a quiet well maintained small site of four hard standing pitches offering electric hook ups tucked away at The Durham Ox, a traditional country pub/restaurant. It's perfect for visiting Horncastle, a picturesque 20 minute walk away or a five minute drive to the market town. Host Jacqui could not be more hospitable. Nothing is too much trouble and she and her team are very welcoming and accommodating. The Durham Ox has a great reputation for its food, all reasonably priced, and it is spotlessly clean and at the time of writing this, early September, it offers a 'covid safe' environment. It has a lovely pub garden featuring an outdoor wooden covered dining area. Even as the cooler nights draw in, its seating areas are comfortable and warm enough to sit outside. I know we've done it three times in as many weeks with visitors to the area! For those visiting the Horncastle area this is perfect!
