Our 1st time in a CL Site. Wanted to try it as very close to family who live down the road. We have seen the Site before whilst visiting the lovely pub. What a surprise on arrival, It has been completely revamped. Has 4 lovely hard standing gravel pitches & a strip of grass with electric hookups All get the sun all day & evening. Our name was on the pitch and we were met by the lady from the pub with an information pack with instructions & info on the local area . This included a 10% discount voucher to use in the pub. Very quiet & peaceful area about 1 mile walk into lovely Horncastle with great pubs & shops . 6 miles from Woodhall Spa which you can walk along the Viking Way. The Durham Ox is a lovely Pub, with great food and a nice beer garden. Dogs are welcome in the Conservatory but I’d advise to book if you want a meal with your dog as not many tables in there. You can use the pub toilet but only whilst they are open. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon.
