Perfect location for visiting neighbouring Horncastle and Woodhall Spa. Enjoyed the short, 15 minute walk into the sleepy little town of Horncastle with an array of antique and collectables shops. Plenty of public houses and cafes. We didn't dine in the Durham Ox, but it was a very busy pub and the food looked really good. Feel slightly misled with the comment re: 'toilets but non exclusive use' when actually, the toilets are not available for use at all apart from during pub opening times; earliest of which is lunchtime. Quiet field, apart from being woken each morning by a couple of yapping terriers in the garden backing into it. Unfortunately, another CC user did not help this when he was throwing toys for his two dogs and allowing them to run across the field. It's a shame that the corner of the field we were closest too is used to store an array of stuff, when it could easily be screened off.
