A Little Piece of Heaven

Came for my 4th stay in a year for a week in July. To say that I am a convert is an understatement. This place is quiet and peaceful, even given that the pub is next door, and has amazing birds and wildlife all around. It is a mile and a half walk to the RSPB Minsmere Reserve, which is one of my favourites. The staff at the pub were, without exception, friendly. The site is small, but there is room for the 5 outfits permitted. I did not eat at the pub as I like cooking in my campervan, but the beer (ADNAMS of course) is beautifully kept. The only slight disadvantage is the difficulty of washing one's hair - but I can live with that and the occasional whiff from the marsh/septic tank. The very best bit is not being regimented on some tarmac'd site with lots rules and dogs and people looking down their noses at my camper conversion. Here, you are left to get on with it - but if you have a problem or a query there is always someone to ask. From other comments, I see that the site does not suit everyone. I'm really pleased about that. Some people neither understand or appreciate the countryside.
