On the Friday evening of August bank holiday we decided we'd like to find a site rather than drive all the way home from Alton Towers. Having used the CMHC app to look for availability & phoning several sites I was met with laughter at the prospect of finding a pitch. But not from this warden... she looked at her pitches, juggled things, & after an initial no she called us back & said she could accommodate us! When we arrived, the welcome was warm & we were given all the info we needed (details of a local pub & a curry house that delivers!). This site is IMMACULATE. Probably the best kept site we have ever stayed on. It is peaceful & has beautiful scenery. The facilities are superb. We will definitely return & stay longer next time.
