I like to think I am a positive person so I'd like to start the review on a positive. Good level pitches. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. The pitch area could do with a bit of weed killer but is level and quire good. The toilet, is clean, but only cold water still to wash hands, no soap or towel. The shower was clean but the shower curtain was covered in mould and was horrible. I have taken a picture in case of dispute. There are no hooks to hang your towel, clothes etc in the shower area. There is a table/shelf thing but what if the last person put there shoes on it as well? The shop is well stocked next door but the cafe closes at 5pm each night. So unless you want to eat early you will be cooking. They do a good breakfast though. The wi fi did not work and we have several devices we were trying to connect with.road noise was quite low. We have stayed many places for less that £16 and had a lot more facilities. I would say there are two options for the Halt. Lower the price or up your standards.
