This is our 6th CL visited after returning to caravanning after a 15 year break. We have also stayed on a couple of "commercial sites" during our comeback. We're here for hillwalking so we're away during the day returning to shower, eat and sleep. The site is noisy from the nearby road (it's a long very fast straight). The view from the caravan is straight at the back of the former pub, not the end of the world, but not very appealing. The toilet area is very smelly, the shower curtain was cleaned this morning, last night it was black with mould, today it is nice and clean (I wonder if the review last week prompted the cleaning) . Attention to detail (cleaning should be normal not a special occasion) is clearly lacking. I wouldn't mind the £16 if it was good, sorry it's adequate at best. It's a shame great location but needs to do better.
