After Cirencester Club site this was a haven of peace and tranquility. Basic amenities but all we needed, kind and generous hosts. Plenty of walking accessible directly from the site and cycle paths/bridlepaths we would like to explore another time. You can walk off road down through fields and woods partly along the Shropshire Way to Ironbridge or take the shorter walk by the road. The site is at the top of the hill so the walk or cycle back up is a workout (ebike recommended!). There is a breeze up at the site which was very welcome in the hot weather we had, might be a bit wild at other times of the year. If like me you are a weather watcher this is a great place to observe those weather fronts rolling in. Definitely a place we would like to revisit.
