This area is a real surprise!

This was perfect for us, just a mile from Ironbridge, where we'd bought a passport to visit the museums. Blists Hill Victorian Village is a must. We also did a couple of walks, one from Ironbridge (6 miles), and a wonderful ten miler from the site, where we had lunch in Much Wenlock. Glad we bought the bikes, because there's an off-road cycling track from Iron Bridge to Bridgnorth - 20 miles in total. A bit rough in places, but wonderful nevertheless. There's three pubs at the Ironbridge end. As for the site, there's a hard standing area, and the rest is grassed, which is regularly cut. The owner's son and daughter were pleasant and helpful. The site is high up with views across to the Ironbridge gorge. It's a ten minute walk into the centre of Brosely where there's a number of small shops, fish & chips, and a lovely coffee shop. We will be returning, as we still need to visit some of the museums...
