Ease of arrival/welcome

What a find!

We were in the rainy north yesterday morning and decided to head south where the forecast was better. While en route my husband spent ages looking at the CAMC map and studying the book. We opted for The Leopard based on it being not far from the motorway, near a pub and having good views. We booked over the phone. We probably didn’t take the best route to get here, but we were met on arrival. V welcoming. There are both hard standing and grass pitches. We chose grass, opting for the v best view. It is right across the Ironbridge Valley. There is walking from the site, so we’ll be back with the dog. We went to The Duke of York Inn last night (20-25 min walk). Sadly the last home made steak & kidney pie had just gone, but we ate heartily and the ale was good. It is dog friendly, we noticed. There are loads of museums to visit in the vicinity, but I doubt the dog can go. While we are dog free today, we are off to the local clay pipe museum!
