Ideal site for walking the Stiperstones, no need to drive just put on boots and walk. Local pub in walking distance but best visited as part of the circular walk at the end of the Stiperstones. TV reception excellent if required. Need to drive to the Co op at Minsterley if you need to buy food or wine. Site quiet and ideal as walking base for the Stiperstones Ridge. As mentioned by other reviewers some road noise due to adjacent steep hill and not much for children. Pub is not bad but did not try the food from what we saw it was a simple menu certainly not a gastro pub. Beer was good and was proper ale.
