Great site.

The Limes is a little gem of a CL. The warden was waiting for me on what was a late dark Friday evening, showing me to the pitch, helping me to reverse in to a great level site. After he had showed me where the services were he left us to get set up. We are ralliers so the option of hook up was a bit of a novelty. At some point the power tripped out, some of the other punters were wirreting, two guy knocked on the door to see they could help us, as we didn't mind as I just switched everything over to the gas. Hook up was restored within the hour. Next morning warden checked all the power posts. When we left the warden was on hand to help guide us out. Both guys I met were fantastic. The site itself is like a little wilderness (in a good way) We visited in October, storm Brian was blowing a hoolie, yet the wildlife was abundant, foxes, goats and loads of birds. All the services are easy to access and in good condition. Pitches give more privacy than some CLs due to the wild nature of the site. There is some deep water on site so please consider this if you have young children. The afore mentioned train noise didn't disturb us at all, certainly not at night and the lovely Mrs Fit is a very light sleeper. The surrounding area is very picturesque, especially the canal. We would definitely return to this CL Thanks Guys.
