We recently stayed here for 12 nights and had a great time, despite some terrific thunder storms!!!!  The site is flat and the pitch serviced with electricity and water.  The toilet block was kept immaculately clean and clear instructions on what to do (including how to log on to the wifi) are displayed in there.  The site is well kept and there were tubs of plants to brighten the place up.  There are buses passing outside which go into Colchester.  We found plenty to do within a 20 mile radius and were surprisingly delighted by what Essex had to offer.  There is an excellent fish and chip shop nearby - Caron will tell you how to find it!!!!  Thank you Paul and Caron, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return at some point in the future.
