We stayed at The Meadows over the end of May Bank Holiday weekend and will be booking to come back soon! Location:- set in the village of Badwell Ash, over 4 acres of grounds with 2 small lakes (NOT FOR FISHING) are 5 well spaced pitches with electric hook-ups. Facilities:- One (Very clean) guest bathroom shared exclusively by the 5 pitches with W/c Hand basin and Electric shower and one W/c next door with Hand basin, Washing up area and Chemical toilet cleaning facility by to a converted building housing a full size snooker table, TV area with DVD/Videos available, Table and chairs and a comfortable seating area. Fire pits and seating areas are available scattered around the site and the pontoon over one of the lakes is a great sun trap. Hosts:- Angie and Andy have one aim, to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible, (and they do it very well!!) Area:- The site is a 5 minutes walk for the local Pub (Dogs allowed), local shop with a Fish and Chip shop also nearby. The site is very quiet and tranquil, a little haven of relaxation and beauty and we would strongly recommend booking a stay. Andy and Angie are great hosts and The Meadows is definitely on our returns list, (The only problem is, with all the great reviews this place is getting we're going to have to book early to be sure of getting in!) *Andy advised us he was hosting a family and friends BBQ with a live singer on the Sunday afternoon and there may be some noise before accepting our booking, he also said any guests on site were welcome to come along, After both Andy and Angie repeated their invite after we arrived we attended their party. We were offered drinks and food and made very welcome. We also met up with two lovely friendly couples who were also staying the weekend at the Meadows and had a fantastic afternoon.
