Ease of arrival/welcome

Chaotic and unorganised, but has potential

The site itself is small, behind a pub restaurant that is only open at weekends. There is a new toilet/shower with plentiful hot water. Walking distance to Stow-cum-Quy and a lovely pub. Also potentially walk able to Anglesey Abbey. There is a lovely childrens play area and outside area for the pub. Park and ride into Cambridge close by, plus the number 10 bus from Stow-cum-Quy. Road noise from the distant A14 rumbles in the background. The only problem was the disorganisation. I understand that the owner was away on holiday, so that did not help. However, there was no one to book us in, staff not around most of the time, and no one checking bookings. More and more caravans turning up and no spaces, so no idea what has happened. Real shame especially for people who have paid a deposit and booked months ago. Seven outfits on site so far, and more arriving. Needs better booking system and someone to take charge if the owner is away as the site has excellent potential if run properly as a CL.
