Good spot for visiting Cambridge and we'll look forward to going back one day for a swim!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Missing Sock in July and found it a wonderful base from which to explore Cambridge. There is a Park and Ride not far away but we enjoyed using the wonderful cycle tracks in the area and reached Cambridge easily and safely in around 35 minutes. There are signposted cycle tracks everywhere and it's easy to 'park' your bike in the city, amongst thousands of others - so remember where you left yours! The restaurant itself wasn't open when were there, so we couldn't sample the food but all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful and made us welcome. We understand that this is a new CL and the owners are very keen to make it a success and to provide what club members need. They asked for suggestions and gratefully accepted ours for an additional and easily accessible tap from which to fill a motorhome. The dedicated toilet and shower is lovely and new and spacious. The site is gated and secure, nice and level with a funky patio/garden area by the restaurant and fields behind to explore. We saw some major digging works underway just over the fence and were told there'll be a swimming pool to look forward to in the not too distant future! There is a tiny bit of road noise in the day if you listen for it but we found it very peaceful overall and would definitely stay here again.
