We can’t add much to previous reviews but we can endorse all of them 100%. A perfect location to break the long journey from Cornwall to Cumbria, which we undertake 4 - 6x a year. Our only regret is that, until we get a better equipped outfit, we are restricted to one night stays (a portaloo and a bowl for a toilet and shower!!). We can’t wait to walk the canal paths and the surrounding hills. And visit the NT properties in the area. And Droitwich, which has been recommended. Hence only 3* for the places of interest.....we haven’t seen them yet!! Our dog loves campsite life and this one is perfect, with walks straight from your pitch. As conservationists, we were extremely impressed with the wide margins of beautiful wild flowers around the field edges. If only all farmers set aside a little land for wildlife. We saw a field vole and loads of birds. And, most exciting of all (because we don’t get them in Cornwall) 2 marbled white butterflies. Love it! But don’t tell anyone 🤫
Super site
Just spent 2 nights at this excellent cl. Great views across open fields with lovely sunsets when the suns out. Large hard standing pitches with electric and water taps close by.
Dawn was very friendly and gave out a very comprehensive information pack covering all local interests and amenities. Will definitely be back again.
Wonderful CL
This CL is set in beautiful surroundings, wonderful walks, very welcoming owner and is extremely well managed. The bins were emptied daily and the site was very clean and tidy. The hard standing pitches are very generous and the grass pitches have a wonderful view across the countryside. I would highly recommend this site.

The best cl in 40 years
We have been caravanning since 1978. If we were to make a list of our favourite sites this would be close to the top because;
1. Lovely helpful owners.
2. Super westward views.
3. Very spacious hard standing/ grass pitches, all with views.
4. Very level pitches.
5. 16amp EHC.
6. Very wide entrance.
7. Very quiet and peaceful.
8. Immaculately kept cl.
Thank you Dawn and Martin

Great CL
A cracking site, just off the main A449 but you’d never know it’s so peaceful. Large pitches with plenty of room, and what a view! Lots of walking available from the site. The Cross Keys in Ombersley, had shut down the week before we were due to arrive but we were able to get a table at the Kings Arms who do allow dogs. The meal and service were good. We will definitely be returning to this site.

Outstanding
We only stayed for one night as a stopover from Wales going back home but we wished we could stay longer. What a fantastic site, easy access, beautiful pitches and amazing views. Everything is so well organised and so well kept. As previous reviewers have said, why can’t all CL sites be as good as this, it really is outstanding and great value. We will definitely be returning.

Peace and quiet.
I cannot really add to the already great reviews.
We had a two night stay on our way down to the south coast in early May 2019.
The pitches are very generous in size as already mentioned.
If we are heading around to that area again we would certainly stay again.

Lovely CL with wonderful views
In my opinion The Old Orchard is everything a good CL should be. Beautifully kept with each pitch having it's own ehu and plenty of water taps. Pitches are level and spacious with a choice of hard standing or grass. The views are beautiful, watching the Skylarks was a real treat. We spent four days here recently and it rained most of the time and we can vouch that the grass pitches drain very well. Dawn, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and has put together a really useful information pack. Lots to see and do in this lovely area of Worcestershire. We had a superb meal at the Cross Keys in Ombersley and the Deli/Butcher has some lovely local produce. Will definitely return.
