Peaceful site in a charming area
Large level site meant it was easy to pitch. Plenty of room to spread out. Owners were very friendly and helpful and introduced us to their Wensleydale sheep and lambs. Lots of wild life in the area and the site was visited by rabbits and ducks whilst overhead were buzzards and a red kite. Beccles is a few minutes drive away with Southwold and the Suffolk coast about 20 minutes amble through the countryside. Closer to the site is Raveningham Hall garden and the Raveningham centre with antiques, craft and hobby outlets. Some of the local roads are very narrow so we were glad we followed the directions to the site. If you do venture down the lanes there are some wonderful sights. The church at Burgh St Peter is unusual and well worth a look!
We hope to be back again before the end of the year to explore further. Would highly recommend this site.
