Ease of arrival/welcome

Very quiet site.

The best thing about this site is the absence of noise, no road or railway near, just country noises, birds and wildlife, plus occasional horse. Fairly easy to get to, although the public road in very rough in places ( have been down better farm tracks), there is plenty of room to turn in even when the gate is closed. When you get to the field it is sloping with three hard standings. We had to set up on the grass but found the ground very soggy and sank a bit using all of our blocks to get level. Not so good was the lack of hand sanitizers at the taps or CDP. Did think the pricing was a bit high for a CL, comparable with commercial sites but bit dear for CL's. We were surprised to see so many units on site, first night we counted 9 and most nights there 6 or 7. Didn't impact on our stay though, would we go back? Probably not, too dear for us.
