Shame about the weather

Fairly easy to find , good access and all grass pitches . Pitches near top of field were quite flat but field started to slope lower down so we turned van side-on and still had lovely views and was easy to level with jockey wheel . Nice and quiet and secluded but a fair drive to shops etc (but that's what cars are for ! ) . Toilet basic but clean , but no hot water to wash in afterwards . Yes elsan point was a manhole but aren't they all in one way or another ? and yes they are all smelly !! Unfortunately we arrived after lots and lots of rain and it didn't stop (much) while we were there , which made site treacherous . 2 vans got stuck but hey ! we're caravanners aren't we ? In nice ,dry weather this would be (and is) a very nice site .

Ok for a couple of nights

The outlook from our pitch was lovely as the horses in the far meadow added interest. The pitches are placed at the lower edge of a field and in wet weather this would be problematic. I suggest that mowing the fields at 5pm and 6pm is not good timing. We were enjoying a Friday evening, sitting out with a glass of wine when the cutting started. It was noisy and an interruption and should have been attended to during the day. The chemical disposal was primitive to say the least (an open manhole) and was unpleasant to use. I suggest that the owners look into their competition to discover a huge difference in facilities offered by others now that we club members are more discerning. We left early.

Long weekend.

Lovely views over the fields. Very well kept site with the grass being cut as we arrived, very large level pitches. As this was harvest time we expected to hear some nearby farm noise but nothing that worried us to much. We walked around the area also visiting the local village, sadly it seemed as though the local pub had closed down as it was closed during our visit. We went through Frodsham and found this to be what looked a nice town. We would stay at this site again.

A gem!

Have just returned from a weekend on this delightful site. It's handy for family nearby and this was my second visit. The site is everything I expect from a CL. Beautifully close cut level grass, spacious pitches and good facilities. Views all around were stunning and the morning sun flooding the pitches was very welcome. I will use this site again when I need to visit family in the area.

A lovely week

A lovely flat, well maintained site.  The toilet was always clean. The area is rural and pleasant to walk around. Can't really add any more than has already been said. Would happily return

Tranquility in Cheshire

This site is very peaceful and is very well maintained.  The pitches are spacious and the facilities are good.  It's a very relaxing site and perfectly located to explore deepest Cheshire. I can't fault anything really and would certainly use this site again without hesitation.

weekend break

Spent 27-29 September 2013 at this immaculate CL site. Easy access into the site, very warm welcome from owner, flat lawned spacious well kept site. Walking distance to CAMRA 2013 awarded pub. Nice walks with our dog down bridle paths and onto the River Weaver and the sun shone all weekend. Will definately visit this lovely CL again.
