The outlook from our pitch was lovely as the horses in the far meadow added interest. The pitches are placed at the lower edge of a field and in wet weather this would be problematic. I suggest that mowing the fields at 5pm and 6pm is not good timing. We were enjoying a Friday evening, sitting out with a glass of wine when the cutting started. It was noisy and an interruption and should have been attended to during the day. The chemical disposal was primitive to say the least (an open manhole) and was unpleasant to use. I suggest that the owners look into their competition to discover a huge difference in facilities offered by others now that we club members are more discerning. We left early.
