The site is a large field behind the house and is clearly marked from the road side, with good directions from the main road. The drive takes you past the house, and also past a number of outbuildings which are let out. The drive is tarmac, but has sunk where the wheels of vehicles have past and we found we had to proceed very slowly and even the managed to just ground slightly, so care is needed. The owners certainly do not rush to get your money and are happy to let you site yourself and only approach when you are settled. There are 2 electric hook up points, one with 3 plugs and one with 2, they are almost opposite each other, but there is plenty of room. The only problem we had was with the smell that came out of a chimney in one of the let units. It was so foul on one day we had to shut all the van windows. Over the course of 4 days we had the problem on at least 2 days. Not sure what they are making there but hope they have nose plugs. This did spoil it for us and we probably would have gone elsehwere if we had known. It could be that we were just there at the wrong time, but no doubt others in the future will leave a review and we will find if they have the same experience. Plus point they are just next door to Swiss Farm who sell the most wonderful meat, do try some.
