I have no axe to grind with the Ship Inn but after visiting the site last Sunday, feel honour bound to let members know what they will find there. The road approach from Bewdley or Bridgnorth is not the easiest to negotiate and the last 1 1/2 miles, downhill to the site are tricky to say the least with the last half mile more so ! What was there, a lovely lawned CL, being new we had great expectations, bit its a PUB CAR PARK ! I have taken photo evidence of it being used as such! There are no familiar CL signs, just the pubs own 'TOURING PARK' notices. It was quite dark being overshadowed by lots of trees. What a great shame, as its a lovely area, it will be used probably by fishermen, but look elsewhere if you want a CL to stay at !
