Short stay / golf

Stayed at a few CL'S over our years of caravanning and the backbone of these are the owners, nothing wrong here then, very helpful and they have never caravanned. The twin toilet/shower facilities (male/female) are very clean and maintained. The site is close to the coast and golf courses nearby. The Pub next door is adequate .Overall we had a very nice relaxing stay and would recommend. The site fees at £12.00 could easily be increased another £2..00 and I would not complain. Wishing Phil and Nina all the best for the future.

A Perfect CL, even 2nd time around.

This was our 2nd stay with Phil & Nina at the Stables CL in Maltby le Marsh, who gave us a really warm welcome on our 2nd visit to this CL. The CL was extremely clean and tidy, with washing & toilet facilities always kept immaculately clean and a joy to use. Our pitch was clearly identified, and the electric and waste facilities close to hand, and we had an extremely relaxing & peaceful stay. The CL is perfectly placed to visit this area of Lincolnshire, just a few miles away from the charming seaside resort of Mablethorpe, with the more lively Skegness area not far away at all. There are lots of quaint villages in the local area, with the market town of Louth within easy reach. There are supermarkets nearby, and if you fancy leaving the car, there is a bus stop right outside the CL. We eat out a couple of times during our stay with plenty of local public houses within easy reach, there is even a pub right next door which offers good quality value food. I would fully recommend this CL to anyone who is visiting this area of Lincolnshire.

PEACEFUL OASIS

Recently spent a week at this lovely CL - can only reiterate comments of others.   A warm welcome from the new owners.  Dogs loved the beach at Theddlethorpe (about 3 miles away). We've stayed at a number of CL's and this is one of the best.

thank you phill & nina for running one the best cl's we have ever stayed on, everything was as stated, yes it is 6 amp but everything on our caravan worked perfectly without any problems, hot water ,fridge, slow cooker, you need a dual wattage kettle.    bus stop outside to get anywhere in the county, pub next door serving good pub food and beer, this is a cl where you can chill out and relax. thank you from lawrence (pajman) and mary.

Brilliant CL

We have just spent a week at this great CL. Phil and Nina are great owners very welcoming and hard working. The 2 shower rooms are excellent and kept spotlessly clean the best we have seen so much space to get ready. The grass is lovely and short and collected when cut.The only downside is the electricity is only 6 amp but we coped okay .We will definitely be returning as this is the best CL we have been to.Across the road there is a fishing lake and a small shop for newspapers. Looking forward to returning ..

A Little Gem of a CL site, we will definitely be back for sure !!

We have just spent a fantastic few days at The Stables CL site in Maltby le Marsh. The owners Phil & Nina were exceptionally friendly, welcoming us as if we were long lost family members, nothing was too much trouble. The site has 6 level grass pitches, all with 6amp electrics, a spotless toilet block, set in beautiful tranquil Lincolnshire. The area is quite and peaceful, but close by to attractions such as quaint Mablethorpe, and Louth. There is even a small public house nearby serving excellent food, what more could you want!! We will definitely be back here again.

Ace place !

Just had 7 nights (last week in July) and had a great stay in a great CL, Steve runs a crackin' CL and some other CL owners ought to have a stay here and see how it is done ! Site is a credit to Steve, Showers and Toilets separated for both sexes and kept spotless ! Can't praise this site highly enough. Our only crib was the "flyin' rats" (pigeons) which started cooing and dancing on the van roof in the early hours of the morning but hey can't blame the owner for that ! Just take a 12 bore or bird scarer with you to obtain perfection !

What's behind the gates!

Once the gates are opened and you are welcomed to the large CL with oodles of space and a excellent toilet/shower block. The welcome was great, Steve is a great, down to earth guy who has created a tranquil site ideal for the Lincolnshire coast and beyond.  Being right next door to the pub also helps and the sunday lunch was well cooked, reasonably priced and tasty. All in all a CL to be recommended
