No Problems

Spent 4 nights here and have no complaints. Experienced none of the problems mentioned in the February 2019 review. We received a warm welcome, were shown around the site and left to settle ourselves. All of staff that we met whilst there were all very friendly. The grass pitches are behind an accommodation block which is a separate building to the pub. Facilities were clean and warm - 1 toilet and shower for site, located inside the pub, accessible between 8am - 11pm, but we were told that a key is available if needed, for a deposit. There were workmen staying in the onsite accommodation at the beginning of our visit, but we didn’t experience any of the problems mentioned in the previous review, nor were we disturbed by or aware of any early morning deliveries. We ate at the pub and were happy with the food and drink, usual pub fayre menu. It always seemed to be busy, so that seems a good recommendation. There is some traffic noise, the pub/site is on an A road, so if you prefer complete peace and quiet then this may not be the right site for you but it was not a problem to us The pub does have WiFi, password available in the pub and did reach us on the caravan area. Good location for visiting Thetford and Swaffham. Thetford Forest is good for walking but beware off the parking charges at the Thetford Forest/Go Ape visitors centre. Brandon Country Park is also good for walking and parking is much more reasonable. Oxbrough Hall National Trust Property is nearby and also worth a visit
