more like a storage for caravans than a site

Was really disappointed with this site, all squashed together , a lot more than 5 sites there was electric and a water tap but the water wasn't very clear.Looked like some caravans had been there for a long time and people lived in them . Had to find someone to pay before we left, there was no greeting. Grass for pitch and a track to look at with cars going back and forth not pleasant at all, will definitely not be returning.

not so good

we stayed on the "hardstanding" which is basically on the car park. cars parked all around us and work was going on all the time. The surrounding woods were beautiful but the site is definately not peaceful and we tended to feel in the way as cars came on and off the car park

Convenient stop-over but that's all...

Used as a convenient stop over returning from Cornwall - Close to M5. Confirm with viewpoint from other member(s) and avoid if scenic location is a requirement!

This should not be described as a caravan site

I could not rate this site at all and feel it should be removed from the listing. We arrived mid afternoon on Friday. The site is accessed down a very narrow lane through a sideways on entrance to the right. As you drive in, smack opposite are workshops/garages with vehicles parked outside reducing the width to a single track.and immediately to the left were two spaces, which had there been room to reverse, you may have been able to site a 12'/15' caravan. We could not get any further as a car had been abandoned half way across the path, but the other spaces further up were occupied by a scruffy old mobile home and three other old tourers, which we were told were all lived in. The site was mainly dried mud furrows with about 5" ridges and could only be described as a tip or a yard. We decided quite quickly to leave, but as there was no way to turn, we had to reverse out of the entrance and back up the lane to the crossroads. It's a good I have 60 years driving experience and 25 owning a recovery garage or I don't think we would have got out without damage.
