This site is well situated as others have said and would have been a very pleasant spot to stay. Unfortunately they also have a rally field and on the 2nd day about 7 units came on to that field with a unit pitching just the other side of the dividing fence and then setting up a generator about 15 feet from the back of our van. When it started up again at 10.30pm we werent best pleased. At 11.30pm I phoned the house, but it did not shut down until midnight. i think this is unacceptable but the owner says they had given permission and it is a rally field, in which case it needed to be organised properly or members should have been made aware on booking surely. Oh and the large scarey dog is still in residence!
