Great site for Shugborough and Cannock Chase
We weren't early enough to get one of the hard-standing pitches but the grass is level and in June is dry enough for a motorhome to pitch on.
There is water, chemical disposal and bins at the site. We arrived and pitched up without any problem.
The Canalside Cafe is excellent; we had breakfast there one morning. The walking is very good. A bridle way goes through the site and takes you to the canal and toward Cannock Chase. Shugborough Hall couldn't be nearer.
