Nice Site

Spent 6 nights at this site. Great little site, next to a very small commercial one. It is undergoing a bit of redevelopment at the moment. Price £16.00 per night, but if you wanted to use the ablutions block it is an extra £4.00 a night. On arrival greeted by a very pleasant and helpful warden. Flat site, with no views as such as the whole area is very flat. Easy to visit the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again

Nice enough site, but not really a CL

A pleasant site, but it doesn’t come close to the spirit or definition of a CL as I understand it from several years of using them. Instead, in our view, it should be classed as an affiliated site in which case it would be absolutely fine. As is stands the “CL” is simply an area in the middle of a much larger static and touring site, only separated in part by some very new hedging that is about 18” high. I appreciate that it’s still being set up, but the basics aren’t going to change just because the hedge gets taller. If this type of site is permitted to call itself a CL then the whole CL concept is in jeopardy because eventually many others will follow suit, using the Club’s marketing to help fill their otherwise unassociated spaces. A huge part of the appeal of most CLs, to us at least, is their being small, very quiet, often very simple and non commercial. Sites like The Willows are none of those things but, it is nevertheless a nice site of its own different type. As a side issue we found out on arrival that the prices had been increased without notice, advertised at £13 but charged at £16. The web site is still showing the old price.

Great little find

Just got back from a long weekend at this site and really enjoyed our stay, the site is well maintained and the facilities were clean and a pleasure to use, we were welcomed onto the site and shown to our pitch and nothing was to much to trouble, I would not hesitate to use this site again.

Large pitches, peaceful, well maintained.

Stayed here at the end of April. Booked for four nights, and had no problem extending our stay by a further night. The CL is adjacent to their larger more formal site, (although it is being moved slightly to accommodate a couple of statics). Our pitch was excellent, we felt it was better than most of those on the main site! Friendly greeting on arrival, and throughout our stay from Jill and her co - worker. Bit of a hike to the cassette emptying and rubbish point, but apparently this will be remedied when the CL is relocated. Very peaceful. Has swipe-card entry/exit system. I have no adverse comments, and recommend the CL wholeheartedly.

Little Gem

What a find. Stunning, peaceful site with easy access to Nantwich and its attractions. CL is separated from main site by hedges. Booking can be with or without access to the toilet/shower facilities and is charged accordingly (£14-£18 excellent value). Clean facilities which consisted of 4 bathrooms. Laundry facilities accessible and information room accessible to all. All pitches on the CL were hardstanding with plenty of room between pitches. All were EHU and water/waste and Elsan point were close by. Very friendly welcome. Definite 5*****

Worth every penny

Easy to find shame about the potholes on the drive in. Once on site the owners were very helpful and gave us a chose of pitches. It's £14 a night without the key to shower/toilet block. Well worth every penny. Well maintained grounds. Would definitely use again
