We found it really difficult to find this site. Sat Nav takes you totally the wrong way. I had asked when making the telephone booking if the directions in the CC book were accurate, I was told what I should put into the Sat Nav and follow that instead. This took us to an entirely different place altogether! When we did find it, we were hard pressed to know that we were there, there was a massive wheelie bin in front of the sign. There is a fancy Country Park and the CL is a kind of double back on itself as you approach. Very difficult to spot, especially in poor weather with the sign hidden! Price wise, we felt it was top side for what was offered- no facilities at all and twice the price of the next CL we stayed on. On the positive side, the site is nice and peaceful the new owner, Chris and his son were both very pleasant and friendly. If you like fishing, this might be worth a look for you, the new owners are looking to make the lake available to members staying.
