This is a fantastic site. It is very much back to basics but that is what we wanted. There is electricity on site and as long as you have a shower/toilet in your caravan then you will have no issues. The owners are great and easy to deal with. We booked in last minute and they were great with that. We also were due to arrive on the Friday night but weren't able to get there till the saturday morning and they didn't charge us for the Friday. We could have arrived at whatever time we wanted on the Friday night but in the end we got there on the Saturday morning at about 10am and they were fine with this. The only thing that I would say is that you need to drive past the Thornton Lodge Farm signage as the CL site is just past this (past the house on the right). It was lovely sitting in our caravan with nothing to do but look out over the pond and listen to nature. Perfect for a rural retreat but with good access to the local village of Easingwold.
