I’m almost scared to write this review and attract too much attention! We booked this just as a stop over on our way back from Scotland, having already spent a few days in the Lake District. How lucky were we! A superb site, 5 level pitches spaced nicely apart. Fantastic views of the amazing countryside. Lambs directly next to us, free range chickens strolling through the site, idyllic. The village is a short stroll from the site along the lane, and is delightful. A village store, lovely tea/coffee shop next to the large stream with outside seating, several lovely well stocked craft shops, and of course the village pub. AMD the sun all’s. Breathtaking scenery all around us. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night, one of the loveliest CL’s we’ve been to.
