Get yer walking boots and cycle clips on

This is one cracking sit so long as your very self sufficient off grid and wanting beautiful views, miles and miles of walking to be done from site. We walked to Castletown from site along the Limestone way and down through Cavedale. Around trip of just over 11 miles, wonderful views along the way to marvel at. We also cycled down to and along the Monsal Trail, built do plan yer trip as not so many places to get onto the trail as would be if your walking. Although hard work at times, Getting on to trail from The Anglers Rest of which we needed once we got up the very steep and rocky path. We had another great 20 mile cycle ride out. Only got 2 punchers en route so come prepared. Now to the site. Fresh water tap onsite, CDP at top of field. I his time of year “May” there are Lesser Spotted Orchids in the Old Lead Mining diggings along site the site and part of the farm. Owners very friendly and helpful. We are still on site after thinking we would only be a few days and almost 2 weeks later still hear. And for £10 PN i think is well worth it. You may need levelling chocks but to be honest there’s plenty of level’ish spots if you look for them. Either out in the open Along side the wall or under the trees the views all around are fantastic. Access can be a little tight off the road but you soon get use to it. Where a 7.5 meter motorhome no problem at all. To sum up yes when in the area again we will be back.
