Have just stayed 3 nights on this great CL with the grandchildren. What great value at £15 per night for EHU, hard standing, toilet, showers and a social club membership for the duration of stay. Also good for the young ones as they play all around the cricket field and the excellent local authority park next door. We did not stay at the weekend when I understand it is busier, but it is a cricket club so expect cricketers and their families to turn up. Amazingly the steward told me that she has had several complaints from CC members about cricket being played and this spoilt their weekend!! We found it quite fascinating to watch the comings and goings of groundsmen, cricketers in the nets, funeral (using club) and other campers. Great to be able to pop in for a pint in the evening and be made very welcome. This is not a stuffy members club and in general they cannot do enough to help campers. Access to Todmorden is very easy. N.B. excellent rail service to Manchester or Leeds within 10 mins walk. Highly recommended.
