We have returned from a week away at this CL during the half term holiday. The CL owner greeted us on the first day with a warm and friendly welcome. Siting was really easy with the field being so flat and loads of space for us to pick our own pitch. The site is absolutely beautiful with lovely views all around and extremely peaceful with nothing but farming and the sounds of nature. The upkeep of the site was second to none, very clean, very tidy and very Covid safe with plenty of space for children to play safely. Our daughter started calling it her garden, and our son perfected his bike riding skills well away from other caravans. We also enjoyed a walk around the perimeter of the site each night and got to watch the most stunning sunsets. We bought fresh eggs most days as they have free range chickens on site (some of the nicest eggs we have ever had), the chickens are no bother and there was no mess left from them at all. We were very lucky with the weather, but even on the day it rained the field stayed very strong and firm. Even if it had been typical British rainy weather all week we would have still loved being on this site and staying in the caravan. Something to note if you are coming with children - there is a near by open air heated swimming pool. Unfortunately we only found out towards the end of the holiday so didn't get chance to try it out, but it sounds as though it may be worth packing your swimming kit - we will next time as we will most certainly be returning to this site.
